AJWA Group Factory
Covers an area of 100,000 square meters in Attaka- Adabyia El
Suez. The Factory units are as follows:
Refining Units
- First Unit:
With a production capacity of 70,000 tons per year, manufactured
by Krupp Co. Germany
- Second Unit:
With a production of 50,000 tons per year, manufactured by
Gianazza Co. Italy
- Third Unit:
Palm oil fractionation unit , to produce super olien (double
fractionated ) and stearine with a production capacity of 36,000
tons per year . Manufactured by Tirtiaux Co. Belgium.
Manufacturing & Filling Lines
The company,s manufacturing and filling lines consist of the
following:
- Three lines for manufacturing cans.
- Five lines for filling ghee in 1Kg and 2 Kgs cans.
- Three lines for bottling oil.
- Three lines for filling tins of ghee and olein.
- Two lines for filling shortening and margarine.
- Three lines for manufacturing top & bottom lids.
- One line for manufacturing peel-off lids.
Cooling Units
Consists of 12 fridges for the finished products ghee and
shortening with a storage capacity of 730 tons.
Storage Capacity
Storage tanks and warehouses consist of the following:
- Oil tanks with a storing capacity of 24,000 tons, in addition
to a capacity of 10,800 tons at Adabya and Damietta ports.
- Warehouses for finished products including cooled stores.
- Stores for packing materials, chemicals, spare parts and
others.
Quality Control Laboratory
Quality is assured through carrying out various tests for all
oil and ghee products as well as raw materials and production
materials at different production stages.
Marine Terminal
The company owns three terminals for receiving imported
oils:
Marine conventional buoy mooring system in all shamandourat
area:
The first of its kind in the Middle East and the second in the
world . It is operated by an electrical heating system of sub-sea
pipeline at a depth of 11 meters and a
length of 2,400 meters. It also includes an automatic pipe
cleaning system run by hot water and air. Line capacity reaches
500,000 tons per year.
Deep berth at Adabya Port:
Includes all facilities for receiving oils and loading them on
tank trucks to the factory. The ships stay at the port and oil is
pumped through pipelines to the tanks. Total capacity of tanks is
6,600 M3.
Deep berth Damietta Port:
Has been established particularly to receive soft oils such as
corn, sunflowers and soybean oils imported from Europe, Russia and
the United states. The berth includes all facilities for receiving
oils and loading them on tank trucks to the factory at Suez at a
distance of 250 Km. Total capacity of existing tanks is has been
increased from 4,800 M tons to 7,800 M tons.
